How we connect you with a contractor

Updated 2026-09-30

This is the process as it is actually described today, plus the gaps we will not paper over.

What we can say

You call (603) 420-0791. You describe the heating or cooling problem and your ZIP code. The call is connected to an independent contractor who serves that area. The contractor assesses the job and quotes a price. You decide whether to hire them. The contractor, not this site, does the work. You are responsible for confirming that the license and the insurance fit the job. The lookup steps for New Hampshire fuel-gas and plumbing credentials are in how to vet an HVAC contractor.

What we will not claim

TODO: screening criteria. The operator has not documented a vetting process on this site. We do not claim background checks, insurance minimums we verified, years-in-business cutoffs, or a banned-contractor list. A connection is not a state endorsement and not a warranty.

TODO: call-handling vendor, hours staffed by a person, and what is recorded. The privacy policy says a call-tracking service can log time, duration, and the number you called from, and that information may be passed to the contractor. Ask the call taker if you need more than that.

After you are connected

Get the scope in writing. Ask who pulls the local permit. You can refuse the quote. Disputes about workmanship are between you and the contractor. This site does not guarantee the work. The footer disclosure is the binding short version of that sentence.

We do not publish ratings. If a real feedback path is added later, it will only show genuine submissions. There is nothing to display yet.
